I'm on my south to Livingston for the winter - I decided to stop off in Lexington, Kentucky to say, "Hi!" to an my good friend Terri -

Kentucky Horse Park is a very large facility - the state cross country races are held here and were in full swing when I arrived - I don't know how many people, but there were thousands of them -

The next day, the park was empty - again, I don't know how many for sure, but there were only a dozen or so units in the park -

I was hoping to go for a bike ride, but the weather is a bit cool (50's daytime) and has been mostly damp the few days I've been here -

The park has several hundred sites - none with sewer - most sites have water and electric, but apparently the water had been shut down for the season - they had two multiple dump stations with potable water available -

Lexington has fond memories for me - I met my first 'net girlfriend here many, many years ago - we had quite a time - I remember playing Diane for her on the piano in the lobby of the Radisson while she peed in the bathroom - Diane still lives in Missouri and I do hear from her in an email every once in a while -

Only here for a few days and then onto Shannon (Tupelo), Mississippi
